TWENTYNINE PALMS — Michael Ruggiero will be heading Twentynine Palms High School starting this fall and is thrilled about the change.
He was previously the assistant principal at Yucca Valley High School and before that he taught at both high schools through his 20-year career at Morongo Unified School District.
Ruggiero started his teaching journey at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, graduating with a degree in secondary education.
It was there that Morongo Unified School District recruited him and he has been in the district ever since.
Ruggiero also has a master’s degree in administrative credentials from Chapman University.
