MH teen breaks into car, steals cash and skateboards, police say

An 18-year-old Mountain Home man faces charges of breaking or entering and theft of property for allegedly stealing skateboards and cash from a vehicle, according to a news release from Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel.

Justin Randall Watson was arrested Wednesday and was released from the Baxter County jail after posting a $2,500 bond, according to electronic jail records.

In an affidavit, investigator Michael Day wrote Watson was interviewed about a theft in July from a vehicle. Two long board style skateboards were taken along with $200 in cash.

Watson was read his Miranda rights and then questioned, according to Day. When questioned, Watson reportedly admitted to “car hopping” on the night in question and stole the items while…
