SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Yusniel Diaz doubled and singled, and Scott Barlow allowed just one hit over five innings as the Tulsa Drillers beat the San Antonio Missions 5-1 on Friday.
Barlow (6-3) picked up the win after he struck out six and walked two while allowing one run.
Tulsa got on the board first with a run in the third inning. After reaching base on a walk, Drew Jackson stole second, went to third on an error, and then scored after stealing home.
After Tulsa added a run in the fourth on a home run by Johan Mieses, the Missions cut into the deficit in the fifth inning when Nick Schulz hit a solo home run.
The Drillers later tacked on three runs in the ninth, including a single by Errol Robinson that scored Garrett Kennedy.
Joey Lucchesi (3-3) went five innings, allowing two runs and two hits in the Texas League game. He also struck out five and walked four.
