BURGLARIES/ THEFTS

The store manager at a business in the 600 block of George Wallace Drive reported two men stole six Moultrie game cameras from the store about 4:17 p.m. Aug. 1. There is video footage of the theft, according to the police report. The woman said two men between the ages of 20 and 30 came into the store and took the cameras. She said she believed the two men were dwarfs. She told police it’s believed the same suspects have stolen from multiple stores of the same franchise.

A .38 caliber Smith & Wesson snub nose revolver was reported stolen July 20 from a location in the 1600 block of Central Avenue.

A Rosewood Lane resident reported the possible theft of a Coach purse containing three kinds of prescriptions. She’s not sure when or where the purse went missing between 8 a.m. and noon Thursday.

A mountain bike was reported stolen about 4:30 p.m. Thursday from a porch on West Wilkinson Avenue.

 

ID THEFT

A Gadsden man reported getting a call from Bank of America Aug. 3 about an overdue account. He’s never had an account with the bank; someone used his personal information to open the account.
