After some confusion and two hours of discussion, the Imperial Irrigation District Board of Directors voted Tuesday to accept the terms of Minute 323 and become one of the partner agencies.
With the goal of setting more efficient management of the Colorado River water sharing agreement, U.S. water agencies and Mexico are closer to finalizing an extension of provisions in the current agreement which expires at the end of the year.
