An earthquake hits Old Town Music Hall | Entertainment – The Beach Reporter – California News

“San Francisco, starring Clark Gable and Jeanette MacDonald, screens at Old Town Music Hall in El Segundo Sept. 15 and 16.

Screenings are Friday at 8:15 p.m., and Saturday at 2:30 and 8:15 p.m.

Old Town Music Hall was built in 1921 and opened by two musicians in 1968 as a non-profit organization to preserve classic film and music. The centerpiece of this unique theater is the Mighty Wurlitzer theater pipe organ that was built in 1925 to accompany silent films. Before each film, there is an old-fashioned audience sing-along and a short silent comedy accompanied by the pipe organ.

General admission is $10 and seniors 62 and older are $8.
