Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 37-year-old Moreno Valley resident after three female juveniles reported he attempted to kidnap them in two separate incidents Wednesday night, Sept. 13, according to a sheriff’s news release.
Diondre Ramey was found in the Hidden Springs area of Moreno Valley and arrested on suspicion of trespassing, kidnapping and child annoyance.
He remains in custody at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside. Bail is set at $55,000, according to jail records.
Deputies received a report just after 9 p.m. of an attempted kidnapping near Mountain View Road and Hidden Springs Drive where the suspect attempted to contact two female juveniles who ran away. They contacted their families, who reported the incident.
The suspect then attempted to kidnap another female juvenile who sustained minor injuries from the altercation, the Sheriff’s Department release said.
