Asa Hutchinson Announces Appointments to Boards, Commissions | Arkansas Business News – Arkansas News

Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Friday announced the following appointments:

Chad Pekron, Bryant, as a Special Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Arkansas. CV-17-168 The Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas v. Matthew Andrews. Replaces Justice Courtney Hudson Goodson, who has disqualified herself from the case. 

Steve Rucker, Alma, to the Residential Contractors Committee. Appointment expires Oct. 1, 2018. Replaces Fred Rausch.

Marliese Kerr, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board. Appointment expires Jan. 26, 2018. Replaces Cheryl Payne-Nesuda.

Dr. Brian Bell, North Little Rock, to the Palliative Care and Quality of Life Interdisciplinary Task Force. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2019.

Dr. Carmencita Poe, Little Rock, to the Palliative Care and Quality of Life Interdisciplinary Task Force. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2019. 

Lisa Vaden, Little Rock, to the Palliative Care and Quality of Life Interdisciplinary Task Force. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2019.

Dr. Sarah Harrington, Little Rock, to the Palliative Care and Quality of Life Interdisciplinary Task Force. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2019.

Dr. Angela Norman, El Dorado, to the Palliative Care and Quality of Life Interdisciplinary Task Force. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2019.

Suzanne McCarthy, Little Rock, to the Palliative Care and Quality of Life Interdisciplinary Task Force. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2019.

Barry Haas, Little Rock, to the Water Provider Legislative Task Force. Appointment expires Jan. 1, 2019.

Robert Burns, Little Rock, to the Board of Trustees of the State Police Retirement System. Appointment expires July 1, 2024. Replaces John W. Allison.
