Donna L. Brazil, of Half Moon Bay, died peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at home with her family. She was 74.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Terri (Andrew) Carol; sons Tim (Gina) Brazil and David (Erin) Brazil; grandchildren Michelle Marconi, Anthony Brazil Jr., Cassidy Brazil, Angela Brazil, Danielle (Braden) Hall; a brother, Ronald (Marie) Graham, of Mountain View; and sister-in-law LaVerne Pacheco, of Half Moon Bay.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Brazil, earlier this year; her parents, Leonard and Virginia Graham, of Redwood City; and sister Lana Mendes-Wentworth, of Pescadero.
Donna was born on Jan. 1, 1943, in San Francisco, Calif. She graduated from Menlo-Atherton High School in 1962, then married Anthony, her high school sweetheart, later that year. During their 54-year marriage the couple welcomed three children into their home. Donna’s family was most important in her life; she was a loving, caring, dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.
Donna worked at First National Bank in Half Moon Bay as a bank teller and in new accounts, then worked in the family construction business before retiring in 2006.
Donna was a member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West in Half Moon Bay. She volunteered at Pescadero I.D.E.S. Society for many years during their annual Holy Ghost celebration. She was an avid San Francisco Giants fan and enjoyed watching the games. She also enjoyed sewing, crafting and traveling with friends and family as often as possible.
