Music and moves at Hot Dawgz and Handrails | Big Bear Now – California News

Bear Mountain’s Hot Dawgz and Handrails, one of snowboarding’s most anticipated and longest-standing events, is upping the ante again.

Now in its 14th year, Hot Dawgz and Handrails returns to a one-day format Saturday, Sept. 23, with a rail jam competition featuring some of the world’s best snowboarders. Live musical performances include headliners Method Man, Redman, DJ Snoopadelic, Andrew WK and Tomorrow’s Bad Seeds.

Tickets are $25 for age 13 and older, $15 for ages 5-12, and free for kids age 4 and younger. Tickets are available online at www.hotdawgzandhandrails.com.

Gates open at 10 a.m. with the first heat of the rail jam from 1 to 2 p.m. Rail jam finals begin at 3 p.m.

The musical schedule starts at noon with Tomorrow’s Bad Seeds. Andrew WK is at 2 p.m., DJ Snoopadelic is at 3:30 p.m. and Method Man and Redman wrap the event at 4:30 p.m.

Bear Mountain Resort is at 43101 Goldmine Drive, Big Bear Lake.
