CSULB Graduates Make Stage Managing Debut At The Found Theatre | Entertainment – California News

Two California State University, Long Beach, graduates are finding their spots on the theater stage.

“We wanted to figure out a way to include our friends in the show,” Natalie Cruz, co-producer, said about the vision for their production. “This is our first time doing this and it’s been exciting and scary at the same time.”

Cruz, along with co-producer Tyler Bremer, will be showcasing the stage debut of a number of Long Beach playwrights and actors this weekend at The Found Theatre during their first production titled Let’s Create: A New Play Festival.

She added that the duo initially hoped to create something fun with their friends, but their vision expanded into something more.

“This process started in February, but it’s been a very short and fast ride,” Cruz said. “We approached several different playwrights that we knew, and we weren’t expecting all of the positive feedback.”
